Girls Brigade Glasgow
Greater Glasgow Division is part of the structure of our National organisation of the Girls’ Brigade. We are an autonomous organisation and are registered with OSCR. We are also part of the wider International family of Girls’ Brigade which has over 50 countries in membership. In 2018 we celebrated our 125th anniversary which started in Dublin in 1893 and we have developed across the world to the organisation we are today.
Greater Glasgow Division is comprised of 29 companies (click HERE to view) which also includes areas just outside Glasgow – Cumbernauld and East Kilbride. Girls’ Brigade is open to all girls from P1-P6 and we meet locally in our communities and are run by fully qualified leaders who are appointed by the Church. All leaders have to be PVG checked before they can work with the girls in our care.

Girls’ Brigade offers a place for a girl to be herself and learn new things, play games, meet new friends and all done in a safe environment.
